Recent Activities – As of early April 2024
• Northbound
– Installing ditch line drainage and underdrain from STA 1198 – 1204.
– Completed berm near STA 1166.
– Removed existing overhead sign structures and temporarily ground mounted signs.
• Southbound
– Installing ditch line drainage and underdrain from STA 1198 - 1207.
– Blasting of ledge in the ditch line.
Upcoming Work – April 2024 to May 2024
• Northbound
– Continue grading slopes and shaping select materials
– Remove the existing overhead sign structures and temporarily ground mount signs.
• Southbound
– Construct both northern and southern temporary widening approaches.
– Continue grading and placing select materials where possible.
– Continue permanent drainage installations.
General Traffic Implications
• Spring 2024
– Rolling roadblocks and shoulder closures, as needed, for temporary roadwork, as traffic allows
