Recent Activities – As of early December 2024
• Northbound
– Placed binder pavement for low speed lane and shoulder.– Completed soundwall construction.
– Began overhead sign foundation construction.
– Installed humus on slopes adjacent to roadway.
• Southbound
– Placed binder pavement for low speed lane and shoulder.– Completed BMP access road and berm at Station 1195 +/-.
– Installed humus on slopes and adjacent roadway.
Upcoming Work – December 2024 to January 2025
• Northbound
– Install remaining portions of humus along soundwall.– Pour concrete for overhead sign foundations.
– Shift traffic to Phase 4 for winter.
• Southbound
– Excavate, form, and pour concrete for overhead sign foundation.– Grade remaining berm near STA 1179 +/-.
– Shift traffic to Phase 4 for winter.
